This is a kul (cool) site. Animated Explanations has free health, technology, and work animations. The animations are easy to follow and get the point across quickly, animations last from 1 to 4 minutes. Below I included one about ADHD that I found interesting:

Edheads says, “Activate Your Mind!”

edheads
The Edheads.org feature that I like most are the interactive activities.

The interactive activities are really well designed and very functional. They are practical and require students to problem solve much like an engineer or doctor would. An activity students would enjoy is called Design a Cell Phone. They have to design a cell phone with the target audience being senior citizens.

Warning: The Deep Brain Stimulation may be too graphic for some students. But I liked it.

This resource was submitted to us via our TIC Recommends page, which is a listing of all the technology reviews we have done.

Free Medical Animations

pennmedicine
Penn Medicine has a free page dedicated to medical animations. These are great for a health class, science class, or physical education. To be honest I just like watching them because they describe and animate the topics really well. They are a good source of information for all of us. Health is important to us, in the past we wrote about the correlation between effective teaching and healthy eating. If some of the animations don’t play you may need to update Shockwave on your computer, there is a link on the site to do so.

Here is an animation watched about blood pressure.
