Free high school and college chemistry help at My Chemistry Tutor. It’s a useful site, allows students to enter a free forum and ask questions about chemistry. It’s that easy. Students can also send a message to a specific tutor here. So why not offer it to those struggling students that are already on the computer all night? Here is an idea, show them that technology can be a tool for learning.

A Venn diagram can be used in any classroom setting. Why not make it a bit more interesting by having students use an interactive one online? Perhaps with a SMART board? I found this interactive Venn diagram on the ReadWriteThink website, which we have written about before on this blog (here is the post). If you have yet to visit the ReadWriteThink please do so, there are so many resources to choose from. You won’t be disappointed.

Crossword puzzles are educational technology. What are some ways to integrate them into your classroom? Here are two:
- Try creating puzzles for vocabulary words students are studying.
- Include students in the creative process; have them create puzzles as a review activity for an assessment. While they are creating they will be learning.
Just Crosswords lets you use puzzles that have already been created, but the feature I like most is that you are able to create your own puzzles. You can then share the puzzle by directing students to a web address (which I did below), printing it, emailing it, or copy and pasting it (HTML) onto a website or blog. Its an easy site to use. Let me know how you do on our puzzle, the theme is Chicago sports teams.
